01Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Ascend Esports website and your participation in our coaching programs, camps, courses, events and corporate services. By booking, enrolling, attending or using our website, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy and our Code of Conduct. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

02Our services

Ascend Esports ("Ascend", "we", "us") provides esports coaching, wellness-focused training, tournaments and community events, summer camps and long-term courses for players aged 7–16, and wellness programs for corporate teams, on-site at L2-312, Sport Society, Mirdif, Dubai, UAE, and online. Program content, coaches, schedules and formats may be updated from time to time to keep our services safe and effective.

03Eligibility & guardians

• Bookings and enrolments for players under 18 must be made by a parent or legal guardian, who accepts these Terms on the player's behalf.
• Guardians are responsible for the accuracy of the information provided at enrolment, including the player's age and any health information relevant to safe participation.
• Corporate bookings must be made by a person authorised to commit their organisation.

04Bookings, fees & payments

• A booking is confirmed once we acknowledge it and, where applicable, payment is received. Free trial sessions carry no payment obligation.
• Fees for programs, camps, courses and corporate services are as quoted at the time of booking, inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
• Cancellations by you: Full refund if cancelled at least 30 days before start.
• Cancellations by us: if we cancel a session or program, we will offer a reschedule or a refund for the affected portion.
• Missed sessions without notice are not refundable, but we will try to accommodate make-ups where reasonably possible.

05Attendance, punctuality & changes

• Players should arrive on time; late arrival may shorten the session without extension or refund.
• Guardians must drop off and collect players punctually. Players under 18 must be collected in person by an authorised adult.
• We may occasionally substitute coaches, adjust schedules or move a session online for operational or safety reasons, with as much notice as practical.

06Conduct

All players, guardians, spectators and corporate participants must follow our Code of Conduct, which forms part of these Terms. Serious or repeated breaches may lead to suspension or removal from programs as described there; fees for the remainder of a program terminated for serious misconduct are non-refundable.

07Health, safety & media

• Sessions include light physical activity such as stretching and movement breaks. Guardians must tell us about any condition that could affect safe participation.
• Our arena is a supervised environment; players must follow staff instructions and facility rules at all times.
• Photography and filming at sessions and events is only used publicly with consent collected at enrolment or registration. You may withdraw media consent at any time by contacting us.

08Games, accounts & third-party platforms

• Training uses commercial games and platforms owned by third parties. Their own terms of service and age ratings apply alongside ours, and we coach only titles age-appropriate for the group.
• Where a player uses a personal game account, the guardian is responsible for that account complying with the platform's terms.
• Ascend is not affiliated with or endorsed by the publishers of the games we coach unless expressly stated.

09Intellectual property

The Ascend name, logo, mascot, website content, training materials and original game projects (including "The Time Traveler: Burj Khalifa") are owned by Ascend or its licensors. You may not copy, distribute or commercially use them without our written permission. Third-party trademarks, including Fortnite and UEFN, trademarks of Epic Games, Inc. belong to their respective owners.

10Liability

We run our programs with care, qualified supervision and appropriate safety measures. To the extent permitted by UAE law, Ascend is not liable for indirect losses, for loss or damage to personal belongings brought to the arena, or for events outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

11Governing law & changes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the Dubai courts. We may update these Terms from time to time; the "Last updated" date above reflects the current version, and continued use of our services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
